Workshop organised by Paryavaran Dakshata Munch - Thane at Mamnoli Taluka Murbad--Dist. Thane on 27th and 28th April 2013.

There were about 20 participants they were explained following .
1) Rain Water Potential and how one can store and use it for different purposes such as
i) Drinking
ii) For Kharip and Rabbi crop
iii) Horticultural Purpose
iv)For other requirement of people,,Animals after monsoon.

2) How to control salt water intrusion along coastal area this was explained with the help of U TUBE.
3) How to measure slope of River bed and Hill Portion.
4) How to mark contour line this ITEM NO 3 & 4 WERE EXPLAINED WITH THE HELP " A" FRAME
5) Necessity of recording availability of water on 7/12 Extract / property card so that people in urban and rural area will know availability of water every year.
AFTERWORDS PARTICIPANTS TOOK PART IN CONSTRUCTION OF1400 LITERS Ferocement TANK ON BOTH DAYS
During construction they were explained entire procedure.so that similar one they can construct at their place afterwords.
Total two tanks were constructed at Mamnoli.
