Workshop on 29th April 2013 at Bendgaon Taluka Dahanu Dist Thane

This workshop was organised by Apana Group Farm for Farmers,and workers/Karyakarta of other organisation.
There were about 25 Participants and Trustees / representatives of other organisations such as Kosbad Krushi Vijnan Kendra,Somaya Trust Naresh Wadi,ect.
1) Rain Water Potential and How one can store and use it for different purposes was explained and Posters of stage wise works were shown.
i) Drinking.br> ii) For Kharip and Rabbi crop.
iii) Horticultural Purpose.
iv)For other requirement of people,,Animals after monsoon.

AFTERWORDS PARTICIPANTS TOOK PART IN CONSTRUCTION OF1400 LITERS FERROCEMENT TANK
During construction they were explained entire procedure.so that similar one they can construct at their place afterwords.

B) lecture cum site visit arrenged for Talasari Krushi Adhikari and his Krushi Sahhayak on 27th May 2013.
Taluka Krushi Adhikar Talasari Shri B. P. Gavale and his assistant , total 8 came to ISKCON Temple site at Talasari on 27th May 2013
I explained them importance of recording availability of Rain Water on 7/12 Extract so that farmer will know how much water is available to him every year.
I also explained them how Rain Water can be used for every requirement of water at village level and necessity to store water in Rain fed Agriculture
After word I showed them different Models constructed to store water AND ,Big pond of size 450 feet X 70 feet x 15 feet Deep and Farm Pond of size 40 mX 40M x3.5m Deep .
